In this program, ILLINOIS ADVENTURE looked at the ebb and flow-and the history-of the river town of Beardstown. The program, hosted by Jim Wilhelm, also looked at Chicago's movie history, explored the French influence in Nauvoo after the Mormons left, and visited the apartment in which President Ronald Reagan was born in Tampico.
