ILLINOIS ADVENTURE visited the Evanston house of Charles Gates Dawes, vice president under Calvin Coolidge and co-winner of the 1925 Nobel Peace Prize for arranging a plan for German reparations after World War I. This program also looked at train memorabilia at the Amboy Depot Museum, the duck decoy collection at Lakeview Museum in Peoria, and at the world's largest collection of Sears homes in Carlinville. |
