Viewers travel to Hartford to visit the Lewis and Clark State Historic Site, a re-creation of the Corps of Discovery's first winter encampment and the starting point of the historic westward expedition. The program, hosted by Jim Wilhelm, also visits the Weber House and Garden in Streator, the Ulysses S. Grant Home State Historic Site in Galena, and the Joliet Area Historical Museum.
