Historic Auto Attractions was built in 2001 by owner Wayne Lensing of Lefthander Chassis, which makes short track racing chassis. Wayne became an avid collector of automobiles, both with historic value and celebrity popularity. For the better part of 10 years he built up a collection of over 70 special-interest autos. These famous autos are now housed in a magnificent facility built specifically for the cars, and run as a museum. Each display is artistically designed with graphic illustrations and historical information.
Historic Auto Attractions is not only home to famous cars, but also to a wide array of movie memorabilia. Some of the collection includes Marilyn Monroe's nightgown, a sweater worn by Hollywood legend James Dean, and an outfit worn by Elvis Presley. In addition, a large section of the museum is dedicated to John F. Kennedy, along with the "Day in Dallas" display.
Historic Auto Attractions is truly one man's passion for automobiles and history that is a must see for everyone! We guarantee you won't be disappointed.
